How To Get Fire Cape In OSRS

Oct 29

The Fire Cape being one of the most powerful melee capes in the game has become the most in-demand item for RuneScape beginners. Now, before you start planning on going to the Tz-Haar fight caves, it'll be best if you can get more OSRS GP first so you can get the needed items and supplies to defeat Jad and get a chance to get your very own OSRS Fire Cape.

How To Get To Jad in OSRS

You will have to defeat waves of enemies in the Tz-Haar Fight Caves, and you'll need a charged Amulet of Glory so that you can teleport there. Once at Karamja, head down this rope into the volcano's depths where you'll find caves leading underground. The west branch leads to a bank with an entrance point to the Fight Caves.

Fire Cape Guide For Beginners

If you want to survive the Fight Cave, make sure that your preparations are well in order. At least 70 Ranged and 10 Defence will not be enough for this dungeon, so I recommend packing some food around 20 Super-Restore Potions as a backup if worse comes to worst. You can also bring Saradomin Brews and even Purple Sweets with each other just in case they come into play as well.

The best equipment depends on the level of your character and how much OSRS Gold you have. The most effective armor choice is based on what defense skills are available to you, so I recommend carrying a shield that complements where Defense skill lays for protection against attacks. You also need an Amulet of Glory if possible because it will increase combat stats while reducing damage taken from monsters! If Ranged skills interest you more than melee capabilities then carry an Amulet of Ranging with any ranged armour pieces in order to improve accuracy and distance.

Earlier we mentioned the importance of your Prayer level. You can use Dragonhide and get a bonus to it with Blessed Dragon Hide as well, which will slow down how fast you lose prayer points in combat. Your weapon should be Rune Crossbow at all times because this is an effective cross-ranged weapon that has some bonuses for certain styles like Ranged or Magic Attack Bonus respectively on top of its already powerful base damage output.

How To Defeat Jad

Jad is one tough boss for sure. He will unleash his lethal mix of Magic and Ranged attacks that can prove to be devastating if you aren’t careful, but luckily there are some cues that you can look out for when Jad starts attacking so as not to get the full brunt of such a painful attack. You'll want to listen carefully for crashing noise coming from afar signaling an incoming long-range attack or sweeping sound close by indicating he's about ready with a magical assault; then quickly avoid it before it's too late.

Jad is an agile and cunning foe with a range of attacks. You'll never be able to guess what he's about to do next, but you can learn his tells for when the attack will come from either Ranged or Magic. When Jad leans back on his hind legs before attacking, it means that he wants to use a ranged move; so try switching your defense strategy then.

Fight with Jad is difficult, but possible! The key to victory lies in taking out his healers. This can be done by trapping them behind you so they are focused on your player and not healing Jad himself. Keep an eye on your health while fighting him; use potions when needed. With these tactics, it will only take a short amount of time before you defeat Jad and get the Fire Cape.
